When is the rebate going to be applied?

Residential customers– Residential customers’ first $75 installment will be automatically charged to their qualified energy bills on July 9, 2024 (for QLD) and August 19, 2024 (for VIC, NSW, and SA).

Small Businesses-The rebate will be paid in four installments of $81.25 to small business customers in QLD, NSW, and SA. On July 9, 2024 (for QLD) and August 19, 2024 (NSW, SA), the first installment will be automatically applied to qualified electricity customers. Victoria small business clients will have $325 charged to their electricity account as a one-time payment on August 19, 2024.

How to claim?

Generally speaking, you are not need to apply for the bill relief. Your bills will immediately be credited with it, and the first installment is due on July 31, 2024. The bill relief is available as a one-time lump sum credit to households and small businesses in embedded networks, which includes apartment complexes, shopping centers, and caravan parks. These firms must apply for the credit to their state or territory government.

Residential customers

You, as a residential customer, are eligible for the rebate without having to do anything. Queensland customers
